Homecomings rock.

So it's one thing to have your own husband come home from being gone on a deployment, but it's a whole different set of emotions when your friends husbands get home. I always wished I had caught our deployment homecomings through a lens a little better than we have, but it's hard to fully capture the moment unless it's a third party. There are other things to focus on obviously. So once I knew my friend Ryndee's hubby was heading home, I told her I wanted to come up (with my friend Leah that was in town and happens to be a great photographer) to the hanger the night they got home, which was last night :) Anyway, we drove up and anxiously waited with the other families who were excited to see their loved one returning. It's one set of feelings to express the emotion with your kiddos, but it was so much fun to see the delight and joy in my friends kids as they saw the plane land. Kylynn who is just a few months younger than Emily I could have swore was going to jump out of my arms as I held her up to get a better view. She was waving and yelling to her Daddy as the plane made its way by all the families waiting. Was so cute. Anyway, I was glad Leah was there to help my friends capture these moments that no one can understand unless they've been in this position. I'm so glad all my friends have their hubbies back. Wonder if I'll see any of them anytime soon ?:)

Me with Kylynn as we waited inside the hanger.
Had to still represent with my Gambler Gal tshirt even though it was a Tiger homecoming :)
And finally Roto is home, after 6 months!
He can go back to taking care of his wife. I tried to help out where I could while he was gone :)
Chaustin, Ryndee's oldest son, loves hugs from me... typical 12 year old boy :)
The lady behind the camera all night! Thanks Aunt Leah Peah!
